Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlinhos Mineiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ademir Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kauan de Brito made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Elias Vides sent off a good shot on target. Elias Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Kauan de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benjamin Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cangas's protests and gave Benjamin Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. Váldson Queirós struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Kauan de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cangas. If Elias Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Vides's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Kauan de Brito skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Váldson Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kauan de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elias Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donatello Arce during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Cangas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donatello Arce to maneuver through the defense. Ademir Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Mineiro in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Elias Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes Cangas got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Gaspar. Nipolandia's Elano Gerber shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ademir Cunha but with some difficulty. After having played for 59 minutes, Carlinhos Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nipolandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlinhos Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos Mineiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ademir Cunha was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After 65 minutes of play, Cangas's Jarbas Matorin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kauan de Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elias Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kauan de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cangas getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jarbas Matorin hit a great ball. Nipolandia's Kauan de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas Matorin in the 85th minute of play. Kauan de Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Váldson Queirós's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Nipolandia getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dagoberto Furtado hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Váldson Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kauan de Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nipolandia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cangas.
