In the 4th minute, Carlinhos Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristóvão Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 16 minutes into the match, Amazonas's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Mineiro came free, but Chiquinho Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Paulo Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Jacinto having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Luiz Paulo Valadares put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Chiquinho Jacinto. After 33 minutes of play, Amazonas's Fellipe Teixeira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kauan de Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kauan de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Teixeira in the 43rd minute of the match. Chiquinho Jacinto made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Luiz Paulo Valadares sent off a good shot on target. Chiquinho Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Mineiro in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlinhos Mineiro to make the kick off. Dagoberto Furtado hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Evandro Loyola was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Amazonas's Chiquinho Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Valadares in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Nipolandia's Luiz Paulo Valadares fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After some careless play in the Amazonas defense, Carlinhos Mineiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chiquinho Jacinto. The Amazonas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquinho Jacinto should have stopped the shot. Luiz Paulo Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th match minute, Amazonas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Chiquinho Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Paulo Valadares's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Kauan de Brito made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Fellipe Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. When Cristóvão Alcântara was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 90th minute, Cristóvão Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes Nipolandia got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Cosme. Nipolandia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Evandro Loyola scored to the left of an out of position Kauan de Brito, making the score, 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Nipolandia players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
