Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mário Leite started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Paulo José Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giovani Nunes shot from long distance in the 8th minute, but Severino Maia was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 10th minute, Danilo Galvão fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Valdelandia's David Figueiredo got a free kick in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Valdelandia's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Galvão came free, but Severino Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Severino Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agnaldo Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mário Leite came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Valdelandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Leite couldn't finish the play. If Danilo Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Evaristo Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agnaldo Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Evaristo Freitas made a huge save. Agnaldo Moraes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Evaristo Freitas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Evaristo Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Evaristo Freitas. In the 86th match minute, Valdelandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Mumbach to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valdelandia's goalkeeper Severino Maia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Severino Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Galvão went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Reynaldo Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
