Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Mariental FC's Mazinho Correia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naldo Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Quadrada getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Delfim Miranda hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes Quadrada got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando Cardozo. Ronaldão Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute, Ronaldão Negri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th match minute, Quadrada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Mazinho Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Álvaro Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quadrada's protests and gave Álvaro Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rdth minute of the game Mazinho Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quadrada's Naldo Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Naldo Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Correia in the 27th minute of the match. If Mazinho Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mazinho Correia in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Lopes saved Quadrada from getting behind. Ronaldão Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Romário Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldão Negri was the one to do the kick off. Naldo Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Correia in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Álvaro Marquez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mariental FC's Romário Mumbach. Romário Mumbach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Álvaro Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Quadrada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Marquez couldn't finish the play. Álvaro Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 played minutes Quadrada got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Miranda. Mazinho Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Naldo Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Mazinho Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Ronaldão Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quadrada's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldão Negri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romário Mumbach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romário Mumbach made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Álvaro Marquez sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Quadrada's Ronaldão Negri got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Mariental FC's José Carlos Hames got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 played minutes Quadrada got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando Cardozo. In the 88th minute, Álvaro Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Naldo Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quadrada's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
