Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 2ndth minute of the game Hílton Trevisan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sertanejo SS's Cristiano Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Recife Pe's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo de Castro came free, but Tomás Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 minutes, Breno Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recife Pe and the Sertanejo SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sertanejo SS booed when Recife Pe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes, Sertanejo SS's Dedé Berger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomás Berger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sertanejo SS reached it. After 18 played minutes Hílton Trevisan rounded Sertanejo SS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Hílton Trevisan had several of the Sertanejo SS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Cristiano Ramos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Noel Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Sertanejo SS's Bebeto de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristiano Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hílton Trevisan in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benedito Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cristiano Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Hílton Trevisan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sertanejo SS's Cristiano Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 minutes, Ronaldão Paraense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sertanejo SS and the Recife Pe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Sertanejo SS got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Paraense. Naldo de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tomás Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sertanejo SS's Cristiano Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Trevisan in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hílton Trevisan made the kick off in the second half. Bebeto de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Sertanejo SS's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Trevisan came free, but Cristiano Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 minutes, José Carlos Pontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recife Pe and the Sertanejo SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Recife Pe got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Pontes. 68 minutes into the match, Hílton Trevisan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Ramos. Sertanejo SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hílton Trevisan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Hílton Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedito Silva in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Ramos saved Sertanejo SS from getting behind. José Carlos Pontes was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Recife Pe's José Carlos Pontes got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Sertanejo SS's Naldo de Castro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomás Berger. Tomás Berger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. In the 91st minute, Benedito Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hílton Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cristiano Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Benedito Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recife Pe's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedito Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Recife Pe players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
