Tostão Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Valadares in the 13th minute of the match. If Sérgio Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tostão Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Valadares to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Baiano in the 52nd minute of play forced Tombo's goalkeeper Ismael Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sérgio Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee ignored Caicarinha's protests and gave Dé Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caicarinha getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Dé Vaz hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Severo got free with Tostão Vander in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augusto Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
