The audience thought a goal was coming when Hortêncio Gomes got free with Fellipe Paes in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Derramado! The audience was convinced that Norberto Guerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Pedro Proença was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. José Carlos Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Hortêncio Gomes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fellipe Paes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Mandrak in the 21st minute of play forced Croa's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fellipe Paes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hortêncio Gomes went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, Derramado's goalkeeper Fellipe Paes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hortêncio Gomes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitório Mesquita during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Croa got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Mesquita. Hortêncio Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Paes having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Derramado's goal looked a bit too open when Dida de Queiroz came free, but Fellipe Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Croa's zone, Jean Mandrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Pedro Proença came out of the goal and Jean Mandrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fellipe Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dida de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When José Carlos Brodel fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Derramado's protests and gave José Carlos Brodel a yellow card for diving instead. Hortêncio Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fellipe Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida de Queiroz in the 63rd minute of play. José Carlos Brodel got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dida de Queiroz couldn't finish the play. After 68 minutes, Jean Mandrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derramado and the Croa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jean Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Derramado's goal looked a bit too open when Dida de Queiroz came free, but Fellipe Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Paes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Croa's Vladimir Sanches got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Dida de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Fellipe Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dida de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Hortêncio Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Croa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If João Adolfo Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Derramado getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rogério Hermes hit a great ball. Cipriano Messias's late challenge caught a Croa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Messias helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Derramado got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Messias. Croa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
