Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernandinho Prado started the match with the kick off. Benjamin Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hortêncio Gomes went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Abelardo Queiroz hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Dida de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Benjamin Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida de Queiroz in the 27th minute of the match. Hortêncio Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Alcântara having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Tião Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jardinopolis and the Croa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Hortêncio Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Alcântara. Jardinopolis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 39th minute, Dida de Queiroz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benjamin Alcântara. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Croa's Dida de Queiroz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benjamin Alcântara. Benjamin Alcântara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Tales Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dida de Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Gomes in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Túlio Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Hortêncio Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hortêncio Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Alcântara having to interfere. In the 77th minute Dida de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Gomes in the 83rd minute of play forced Jardinopolis's goalkeeper Benjamin Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dida de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jardinopolis's Benjamin Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Gomes in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Jardinopolis got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Bittencourt. If Dida de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Queiroz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jardinopolis's zone, Dida de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Alcântara came out of the goal and Dida de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
