Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Júnior Corrêa kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Nepomuceno's Norberto Ferraz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Júnior Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nepomuceno's Ramón Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Cardozo in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Norberto Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nepomuceno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Ferraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramón Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Corrêa in the 19th minute of play. Samuel Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Maranhense in the 23rd minute of the match. Finus F.C.'s Júnior Corrêa suffered a concussion in the 26th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 37 minutes, Zé Pedro Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nepomuceno and the Finus F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Barreto made a kick off. A collision led to Finus F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jairo dos Santos hit a great ball. Robinho Damião took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramón Trancoso. Nepomuceno's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Elias Mello fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Finus F.C.'s protests and gave Elias Mello a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Finus F.C.'s Elias Mello got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Franklin Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Mello in the 67th minute of play forced Nepomuceno's goalkeeper Ramón Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Finus F.C. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. César Baptista hit a great ball. Ramón Trancoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Finus F.C.'s César Baptista shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ramón Trancoso but with some difficulty. In the 83rd minute, João de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Elias Mello came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Finus F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Mello couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Finus F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nepomuceno.
