The referee showed João Adolfo Paranaense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Adolfo Paranaense hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. César Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Quaresma in the 9th minute of play. B1 Vegetal's César Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionísio Vides in the 10th minute of play. César Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafim Motta in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fábio Amorim saved Guia FC from getting behind. Luís Fábio Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guia FC's Luís Fábio Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Motta in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Jorginho Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes B1 Vegetal got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Lucas. After 31 minutes of play, Guia FC's Afonso Mello made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. César Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! B1 Vegetal's Serafim Motta got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. César Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Mello in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Serafim Motta lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Luís Fábio Amorim. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Mello to make the kick off. Luís Fábio Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Loyola in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Guia FC booed when B1 Vegetal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Guia FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Dionísio Vides hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Arnaldo Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fábio Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafim Motta's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 73rdth minute of the game Serafim Motta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guia FC's Luís Fábio Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Fábio Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Sena in the 74th minute of play. In the 98th minute of the match, Serafim de Senna got a very nice opportunity to score, but César Silva was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the referee ended the match the B1 Vegetal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
