Murillo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Simões in the 13th minute of the match. FLAVIO JR's Ciro Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Medeiros in the 16th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Bolao got a freekick which was hit by Alan Schmidt. In the 25th match minute, Bolao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bolao getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Torres hit a great ball. Murillo Baiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caetano Donatello in the 27th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Benjamin Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Murillo Baiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victor Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Bolao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Fantini made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, FLAVIO JR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Simões to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Enio Simões fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. FLAVIO JR's Betinho Amaral was substituted for Enio Simões. Roger Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Urbano having to interfere. Victor Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Váldson Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Baiano having to interfere. FLAVIO JR's Váldson Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murillo Baiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Silveira went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, one of FLAVIO JR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FLAVIO JR. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by FLAVIO JR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luís Eduardo Fernandes was slow to take the kick. During this time Bolao's players had a chance to rest. Bolao's Luís Eduardo Fernandes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ciro Urbano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FLAVIO JR had won after a very even match.
