Murillo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel de Andrade in the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bolao's zone, Manuel de Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Baiano came out of the goal and Manuel de Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bolao's Roger Medeiros got a free kick in the 7th minute. Manuel de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Murillo Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Troya EC. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Manuel de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Troya EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel de Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murillo Baiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Murillo Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Troya EC. In the 16th minute Felippe Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Felippe Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Manuel de Andrade put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Murillo Baiano. Felippe Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murillo Baiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel de Andrade went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, Bolao's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Brasil came free, but Murillo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Olavo de Senna dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dráusio de Lara, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Victor Fantini made the kick off in the second half. Murillo Baiano made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Manuel de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Nildo Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Troya EC's Dráusio Tasso shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Murillo Baiano but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Brasil in the 62nd minute of play forced Bolao's goalkeeper Murillo Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felippe Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murillo Baiano having to make a save. Victor Fantini hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Bolao's Murillo Baiano got control of the ball when Manuel de Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roger Medeiros hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Bolao's Victor Fantini got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Felippe Brasil reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Murillo Baiano. The goal made the score 1-3. If Victor Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráusio de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Troya EC's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Carioca came free, but Dráusio de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Troya EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
