Gozado's Enio Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hílton Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Gozado's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Toledo came free, but Donato Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Berlinque SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisinho de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Berlinque SC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Valladares. Donato Recife came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Berlinque SC's Nico Eger. But to his dismay, Nico Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Gozado's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Toledo came free, but Donato Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enio Zonta in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hílton Silveira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Falcão Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sílvio Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gozado's protests and gave Sílvio Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. Sílvio Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Delfim Sergipano hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Rui Madureira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 41st minute, Gozado's Rui Madureira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hílton Silveira. Hílton Silveira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Hílton Silveira made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Enio Zonta sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Madureira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gozado's zone, Nico Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Recife came out of the goal and Nico Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hílton Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enio Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Silveira having to interfere. Luisinho de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Pedrinho Freire was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Berlinque SC's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Zonta came free, but Hílton Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Enio Zonta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hílton Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a rather tough play, Gozado's Delfim Sergipano got a free kick in the 75th minute. Rui Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Silveira having to interfere. Gozado's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Falcão Toledo 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Hílton Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Madureira's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After 84 played minutes Berlinque SC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Valladares. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
