Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomé Silva started the match with the kick off. Reynaldo Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Chiquinho Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reginaldo Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Cléber Paraibano made a precise shot to the right of Reginaldo Amaral. Real Alvinegro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Real Alvinegro FC's Vinícius Loyola got a free kick in the 14th minute. Chiquinho Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th play minute Reynaldo Sampaio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Chiquinho Recife. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Real Alvinegro FC's Lúcio Novaes got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 35th match minute, Jabuticabal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Francisco Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jabuticabal's Chiquinho Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Silva in the 46th minute of play.

After 54 played minutes Real Alvinegro FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Sampaio. If Reynaldo Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Alvinegro FC's Tomé Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Jabuticabal's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Sampaio came free, but Chiquinho Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match Luiz Gustavo Brito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reginaldo Amaral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Real Alvinegro FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Francisco Pinho hit a great ball. When Jabuticabal's José Carlos da Costa in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Alvinegro FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Jabuticabal defense, Simão Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chiquinho Recife. The Jabuticabal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquinho Recife should have stopped the shot. Reynaldo Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Real Alvinegro FC's zone, Cléber Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reginaldo Amaral came out of the goal and Cléber Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Murilo Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Real Alvinegro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murilo Alagoano couldn't finish the play. Reynaldo Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Recife having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Reynaldo Sampaio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Alvinegro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When Reynaldo Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Real Alvinegro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Sampaio couldn't finish the play. José Carlos da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Reginaldo Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Alvinegro FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
