Bentinho AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 played minutes Bentinho AD got a freekick which was hit by Victor Neto. In the 12th minute, Mané Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, César Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Augusto Sousas short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Giovani Esteves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Giovani Esteves was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Daniel Leite capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Leite really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Bentinho AD's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Dante came free, but Nicolas Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bentinho AD's Victor Neto got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Leandro Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Alfredão de Carvalho notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Aviario's Giovani Esteves. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredão de Carvalho got free with Giovani Esteves in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Alfredão de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Giovani Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovani Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Bentinho AD's Victor Neto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aviario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bentinho AD the free kick. Nicolas Diniz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilson Tinoco went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Bentinho AD's Nicolas Diniz got control of the ball when Celsinho Baiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Bentinho AD's Victor Neto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovani Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Giovani Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of César Gaspar's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Aviario's Giovani Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão de Carvalho in the 85th minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Alfredão de Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aviario's Giovani Esteves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If César Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovani Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão de Carvalho in the 90th minute of play. Alfredão de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Esteves having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Bentinho AD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
