Ezequiel Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Vasconcelos in the 10th minute of the match. Beto Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poá F.C.'s Beto Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Prata in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Prata in the 18th minute of play forced Poá F.C.'s goalkeeper Beto Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Mutunopolis got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Netto. Ezequiel Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Eduardo Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mutunopolis booed when Poá F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorival Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Eduardo Barreto made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Poá F.C.'s Sílvio Paranaense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ezequiel Rocha. That made the score 0-1 after 72 minutes of play. In the 76th minute, Wiliam Terra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mutunopolis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Poá F.C.'s Luís Eduardo Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Poá F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Trevisan got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Poá F.C. defense, Renato Prata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beto Andrade. The Poá F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beto Andrade should have stopped the shot. In the 90th match minute, Mutunopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Alves to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute José Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Mutunopolis were victorious despite being under pressure from Poá F.C. for much of the match.
