Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Patrick de Souza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wiliam Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiliam Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gino Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos França struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Ezequiel Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itonia SC. Patrick de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick de Souza in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Rocha saved Mutunopolis from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Terra in the 28th minute of play forced Itonia SC's goalkeeper Gino Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Alves having to interfere. Gino Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Prata in the 31st minute of play. Gino Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Terra in the 33rd minute of play. Ezequiel Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick de Souza in the 36th minute of play. Fabrício Mello hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes, Mutunopolis's João Augusto Perez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gino Alves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mutunopolis reached it. Ezequiel Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 50 minutes into the match, Mutunopolis's goalkeeper Ezequiel Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos França. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Renato Prata made the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Mutunopolis got a freekick which was hit by Allan Santana. In the 65th minute Renato Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiliam Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Alves having to interfere. Renato Prata might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gino Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renato Prata ran back to his position shaking his head. Mutunopolis's Ezequiel Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick de Souza in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Itonia SC's Joaquim Moraes got a free kick in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Mutunopolis's Wiliam Terra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gino Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mutunopolis's zone, Patrick de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Rocha came out of the goal and Patrick de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the game, Anderson Damião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itonia SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mutunopolis the free kick. In the 96th minute Henrique Alves managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mutunopolis eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
