Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fabrício Barral made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Rafinha Gomes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duda Paranaense. Muquem EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafinha Gomes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Fabrício Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá Silveira during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Muquem EC got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Silveira. When Dedé Arce came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Muquem EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Arce couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Joélson Carioca from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Bruninho da Silva's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 30th minute, Sílvio Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Canafistinha SS's goalkeeper Bruninho da Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrício Barral. After 34 played minutes Muquem EC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Palmeira. The crowd rose to their feet as Cacá Silveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruninho da Silva. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. If Fabrício Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Claudinei Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muquem EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sílvio Mello to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrício Barral in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruninho da Silva saved Canafistinha SS from getting behind. Dedé Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho da Silva having to interfere. Cacá Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruninho da Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Canafistinha SS defense, Fabrício Barral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruninho da Silva. The Canafistinha SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruninho da Silva should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Muquem EC's goalkeeper Duda Paranaense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernani Matos. Hernani Matos came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Duda Paranaense could save by the left post. Cacá Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruninho da Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacá Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Cacá Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho da Silva having to interfere. Bruninho da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrício Barral's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Luís Cerezo's late challenge caught a Muquem EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. Dedé Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho da Silva having to interfere. Luís Fábio Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Duda Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Muquem EC had played much better football throughout.
