In the 3rd match minute, Pereira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pereira FC booed when Lastdance FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, José Paulo Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lastdance FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Acácio Mota succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Lastdance FC's Murillo de Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelinho Leal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Pereira FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Celso Proença hit a great ball. Samuca Cerezo's late challenge caught a Lastdance FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuca Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Samuca Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelinho Leal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murillo de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. A hard shot 44 in the game by Murillo de Queirós from a close distance when the talented Marcelinho Leal managed to make a qualified save. Pereira FC's players were relieved.

If Murillo de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamantino Vidal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sandro Couto came out and tried to block the shot, but Diamantino Vidal slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute José Paulo Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Murillo de Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelinho Leal was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, Pereira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo de Queirós came free, but Marcelinho Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doni Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pereira FC's zone, Murillo de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelinho Leal came out of the goal and Murillo de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, José Paulo Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lastdance FC's Eriberto Trigo suffered a sore thigh after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Samuca Cerezo was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Lastdance FC's Guilherme Vieira was substituted for Eriberto Trigo. Samuca Cerezo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Murillo de Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Leal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Guilherme Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pereira FC's zone, Murillo de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelinho Leal came out of the goal and Murillo de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guilherme Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcelinho Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murillo de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Lastdance FC were the better team. Lastdance FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
