Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Inácio Cruz kicked off to start the match. Adelino Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Natã Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Angelo Paulista put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Natã Breckenfeld. Jorginho Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Cruz in the 9th minute of play. Jorginho Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wágner Rodrigues went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Jorginho Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Cruz in the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Angelo Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almas's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Paulista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natã Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natã Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Canabarro AD's Natã Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Paulista in the 31st minute of play. Almas's Angelo Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adelino Bertassi struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Natã Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almas. 44 minutes into the match, Canabarro AD's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Paulista came free, but Natã Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wágner Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Almas were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Paulista to strike the kick off in the second half. Dráusio Borges charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráusio Borges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dráusio Borges hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Edu Varela sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Canabarro AD's Natã Breckenfeld didn't even have to move. Nildo Machado hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Angelo Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Canabarro AD's goalkeeper Natã Breckenfeld had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino Bertassi. Donato Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Donato Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Souza, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Almas's Jorginho Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Rodrigues in the 78th minute of play. Adelino Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Dráusio Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adelino Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Canabarro AD booed when Almas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Almas's Jorginho Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Rodrigues in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Almas's Denílson de Queiroz got a free kick in the 94th minute. Jorginho Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Almas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
