Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Aírton Paranaense started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Zézinho Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho da Costa having to interfere. A collision led to Itamarandiba SS getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Adrianinho Santana hit a great ball. Cipriano Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Clemente Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Augusto Koehler charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Augusto Koehler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cipriano Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Itamarandiba SS's Fernão Lopes got a free kick in the 34th minute. Lamarao EC's Zézinho Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Macedo in the 42nd minute of play forced Itamarandiba SS's goalkeeper Paulinho da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Lamarao EC's Adriano Paes got control of the ball when Anísio Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Germano Vale fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lamarao EC's protests and gave Germano Vale a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Germano Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Macedo was the one to do the kick off. Adriano Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Paranaense in the 57th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match Cristóvão Teixeira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adriano Paes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anísio Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Adriano Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Aírton Paranaense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lamarao EC's Adriano Paes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Zézinho Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lamarao EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulinho da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Itamarandiba SS's Paulinho da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Macedo in the 90th minute of play.
