After having played for 25 minutes, Jesus Libertad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EB F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Libertad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Vito de Sousa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 29th minute Jesus Libertad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, João Vítor Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a little luck, EB F.C's Ludomir Dembkowski got control of the ball when João Vítor Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vito de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Freitas having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Botelho's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Libertad came free, but Waldir Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludomir Dembkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Tasso in the 65th minute of the match. Fabrício Ortiz made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Acácio Eger. Kaká Bezerra charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
