Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alfredo Sampaio made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Taquara's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Madureira came free, but Flávio Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flávio Damião made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raí de Almeida in the 24th minute. Raí de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfredo Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho de Lara having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Inácio Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taquara's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Marinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute of the match Cipriano Simões shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flávio Damião showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Flávio Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Armandinho de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Pedrão de Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Inácio Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armandinho de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Telmo Madureira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inácio Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Matheus Dracena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taquara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leria FC the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, Taquara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Pedrão de Lima hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the game, Alfredo Sampaio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armandinho de Lara. Alfredo Sampaio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Flávio Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Madureira in the 81st minute of the match. Flávio Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí de Almeida in the 84th minute of play. Leria FC's Raí de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Alfredo Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. But to his dismay, Raí de Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Leria FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
