Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antônio Sousa took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Antônio Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacioba SC's Hílton Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sandro Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Operário Laranjeiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hílton Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Jacioba SC's zone, Sandro Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Carvalho came out of the goal and Sandro Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Bernardo Brodel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hudson Bastos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Sabino Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes of play, Jacioba SC's Bernardo Brodel made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hudson Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antônio Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hílton Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antônio Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute Antônio Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antônio Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Carvalho having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

53 minutes into the match, Jacioba SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Cabral came free, but Hílton Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes, Donatello Palmeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jacioba SC and the Operário Laranjeiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donatello Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Antônio Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Operário Laranjeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Sousa couldn't finish the play. Antônio Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hílton Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacioba SC's Hílton Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Sousa in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Jacioba SC's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Sousa came free, but Hílton Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Hudson Bastos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Antônio Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hílton Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
