Sílvio Luís de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Matorin in the 8th minute of the match. With his leg Sílvio Luís de Barros managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Montividiu SC's Cléber Nogueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 11 minutes, Alfredão Queirós made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Montividiu SC's Luís Paulo Pimenta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Paulo Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão Queirós in the 15th minute of the match. If Alfredão Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Alfredão Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredão Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulo Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sílvio Luís de Barros made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cléber Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. After 34 played minutes Montividiu SC got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Passos. If Cléber Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rony Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Montividiu SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pirahy were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willian Peres made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Cafu Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luís de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pirahy's Sílvio Luís de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Nogueira in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Pirahy getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Váldson Toscano hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Pirahy's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Nogueira came free, but Sílvio Luís de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cléber Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 62 minutes, Dorival Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montividiu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorival Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Montividiu SC's Luís Paulo Pimenta got control of the ball when Alfredão Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. Willian Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Pimenta having to interfere. Alfredão Queirós struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Luís Paulo Pimenta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirahy. A collision led to Montividiu SC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cafu Sarmento hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Peres in the 71st minute of play forced Montividiu SC's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montividiu SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rony Pinheiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Pirahy's players had a chance to rest. Luís Guilherme Matorin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 77 minutes into the game, Alfredão Queirós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luís Paulo Pimenta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Alfredão Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredão Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Montividiu SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Willian Peres fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Willian Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléber Nogueira took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Luís de Barros. Sílvio Luís de Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Pirahy played a much better game than Montividiu SC and deserved their victory. The Montividiu SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
