Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Albertino Bastos kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Dorival Matorin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chiquinho Magalhães. The goal made the score 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Iabete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Matorin came free, but Chiquinho Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorival Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes, Mathias Linares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iabete FC and the Montividiu SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mathias Linares hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Cléber Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Montividiu SC's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Melo came free, but Luís Paulo Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Albertino Bastos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Luís Paulo Pimenta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37thth minute of the game Elivélton Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montividiu SC's Luís Paulo Pimenta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Dorival Matorin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Chiquinho Magalhães, passed just outside the right post. Chiquinho Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Cléber Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Iabete FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Albertino Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Luís Paulo Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Montividiu SC's Luís Paulo Pimenta got control of the ball when Elivélton Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Montividiu SC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Cafu Sarmento hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, Montividiu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Albertino Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Luís Paulo Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iabete FC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chiquinho Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorival Matorin in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chiquinho Magalhães saved Iabete FC from getting behind. Cléber Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Ademar da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dorival Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Iabete FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
