The Os Verdinhos Smoke Club fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's 温笑青 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Marau AD booed when Os Verdinhos Smoke Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Schmidt in the 11th minute of play forced Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's goalkeeper Greger Wiklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 温笑青 in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Carlos Trancoso saved Marau AD from getting behind. After having played for 15 minutes, Amílton Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílton Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Greger Wiklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Durvalino Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Marau AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durvalino Peixoto couldn't finish the play. 温笑青 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of José Carlos Trancoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 26 minutes into the game, Durvalino Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marau AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Os Verdinhos Smoke Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Marau AD's Durvalino Peixoto got a free kick in the 26th minute. 温笑青 made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 27thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but José Carlos Trancoso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Eliézer Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Júlio Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's 温笑青 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 41st minute of the game, Durvalino Peixoto landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's Amílton Sergipano got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Wilian Souto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greger Wiklund. Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilian Souto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee ignored Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's protests and gave Eliézer Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's Eliézer Nóbrega got a free kick in the 60th minute. Marau AD's Cesinha de Senna shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Greger Wiklund but with some difficulty. Luiz Fabiano Macedo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute 温笑青 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Os Verdinhos Smoke Club had played much better football throughout.
