Maxi Cantera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 温笑青 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When José Paulo Pontes fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibiatiara EC's protests and gave José Paulo Pontes a yellow card for diving instead. José Paulo Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ibiatiara EC's zone, 温笑青 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Tavares came out of the goal and 温笑青 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Paulo Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Greger Wiklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. José Paulo Pontes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ibiatiara EC's zone, 温笑青 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Tavares came out of the goal and 温笑青 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrício Loureiro during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Ibiatiara EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrício Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Amílton Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílton Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erivaldo Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Ibiatiara EC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Tavares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 温笑青. When Amílton Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Os Verdinhos Smoke Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílton Sergipano couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's 温笑青 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erivaldo Tavares. That made the score 1-0 after 47 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 57thth minute of the game 温笑青 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibiatiara EC's Erivaldo Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 59 minutes of play Ibiatiara EC's Patrício Loureiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Patrício Loureiro hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 温笑青 in the 62nd minute of play forced Ibiatiara EC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 温笑青 in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erivaldo Tavares saved Ibiatiara EC from getting behind. Greger Wiklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, Jonas Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erivaldo Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 温笑青, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Álvaro Magalhães scored to the left of an out of position Greger Wiklund, making the score, 2-1. The excitement rose when Os Verdinhos Smoke Club's Amílton Sergipano after 85 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Ibiatiara EC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-1. Roland Rolado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Tavares having to interfere. Erivaldo Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 温笑青, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When 温笑青 came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Os Verdinhos Smoke Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 温笑青 couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Os Verdinhos Smoke Club had played much better football throughout.
