The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wágner Cosme in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamim Botelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Benjamim Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Ian de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Renato Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Garcia in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, Bateia's Paulo Renato Aguiar got control of the ball when Vicente do Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Quizaba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Cosme came free, but Benjamim Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian de Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian de Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Ian de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamim Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Urbano in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Chiquinho Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31stth minute of the game Percy Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bateia's Paulo Renato Aguiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leopoldo de Souza hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Paulo Renato Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Bateia's Paulo Renato Aguiar got control of the ball when Vicente do Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chiquinho Ramos hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Bateia's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Aguiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente do Nascimento. Vicente do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Aguiar having to interfere. Benjamim Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Cosme in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Cosme in the 48th minute of play forced Quizaba AD's goalkeeper Benjamim Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wágner Cosme to make the kick off. With a little luck, Quizaba AD's Benjamim Botelho got control of the ball when Alfredo Urbano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quizaba AD's Ian de Senna got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Wágner Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percy Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Aguiar having to interfere. Paulo Renato Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Garcia in the 73rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aílton Gaúcho during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Aílton Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Vicente do Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Renato Aguiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alan Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Aguiar having to interfere. Alfredo Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Quizaba AD's zone, Wágner Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamim Botelho came out of the goal and Wágner Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Urbano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Benjamim Botelho made a huge save. Quizaba AD were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bateia for a fine match.
