José Maria Prestes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Benjamim Botelho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Ian de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quizaba AD's protests and gave Ian de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Brelinho booed when Quizaba AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamim Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Quizaba AD's Benjamim Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo de Barros in the 19th minute of play. João Adolfo Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Benjamim Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 韩超洋 in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Quizaba AD's Vicente do Nascimento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yuri Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some careless play in the Brelinho defense, Vicente do Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuri Trancoso. The Brelinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuri Trancoso should have stopped the shot. Benjamim Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo de Barros struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Benjamim Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brelinho. 47 minutes into the match, Vicente do Nascimento notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Brelinho's Yuri Trancoso. Yuri Trancoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Maria Prestes to make the kick off. Brelinho's Yuri Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Brelinho from getting a goal against them. Benjamim Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that José Maria Prestes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamim Botelho was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Benjamim Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian de Senna hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Brelinho were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Quizaba AD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Maria Prestes took the corner. Brelinho's Reynaldo de Barros was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benjamim Botelho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 韩超洋 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Benjamim Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Inácio Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Brelinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Furtado couldn't finish the play. If 韩超洋 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, 韩超洋 notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Quizaba AD's Benjamim Botelho. Benjamim Botelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Quizaba AD's Percy Garcia got a free kick in the 90th minute. Benjamim Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 韩超洋 in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, 韩超洋 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brelinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Brelinho were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Quizaba AD to leave the ground with a draw.
