Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Bateia's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Prestes came free, but Paulo Renato Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 5 minutes, Severino Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brelinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 minutes, Isaltino Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bateia and the Brelinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Bateia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaltino Melo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bateia's zone, José Maria Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Renato Aguiar came out of the goal and José Maria Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yuri Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Prestes in the 11th minute of play forced Bateia's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Renato Aguiar came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Brelinho's Reynaldo de Barros. But to his dismay, Reynaldo de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Yuri Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes Brelinho got a freekick which was hit by 韩超洋. A collision led to Bateia getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gildo Garcia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Vinhas in the 26th minute of play forced Bateia's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bateia's zone, 韩超洋 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Renato Aguiar came out of the goal and 韩超洋 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Reynaldo de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brelinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Renato Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Brelinho's José Maria Prestes in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bateia's goalie prevented a goal. Reynaldo de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Renato Aguiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo de Barros in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, Brelinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 韩超洋 to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 41 minutes, Alfredo Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bateia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brelinho's 韩超洋 got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Furtado got free with Paulo Renato Aguiar in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Wágner Cosme made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquinho Ramos got free with Yuri Trancoso in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Renato Aguiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Maria Prestes's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Paulo Renato Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 韩超洋 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Renato Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Senna in the 66th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Brelinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sunar Argadinata to maneuver through the defense. Yuri Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Cosme in the 75th minute of the match. José Maria Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Paulo Renato Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Brelinho's Severino Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Renato Aguiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bateia's Paulo Renato Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo de Barros in the 79th minute of play. Reynaldo de Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Renato Aguiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. With a little luck, Brelinho's Yuri Trancoso got control of the ball when Alfredo Urbano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredo Urbano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 91st playminute. The supporters of Brelinho booed when Bateia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Renato Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo de Barros in the 98th minute of play.
