The tension between the Barril do Chaves F.C and the Taciateua AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Barril do Chaves F.C got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Aguiar. After having played for 15 minutes, Thiago Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taciateua AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Teruel kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Taciateua AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis De Angelis in the 33rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 58th minute, Dennis De Angelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Cesinha Castro came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Barril do Chaves F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesinha Castro couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cesinha Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barril do Chaves F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesinha Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Thiago Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Taciateua AD booed when Barril do Chaves F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Teruel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Magno do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
