In the 2nd match minute, REAL IMPERIAL EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Zé Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mamore's Charles Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Umberto Pena had to leave the field with a concussion. After 12 minutes, Jefferson da Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mamore and the REAL IMPERIAL EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mamore getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jefferson da Fonseca hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Rocha during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mamore booed when REAL IMPERIAL EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Rocha took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Melo. Zé Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Fabrício Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Samuel Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cristian Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Inácio do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. REAL IMPERIAL EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio do Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Zé Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. REAL IMPERIAL EC's Samuel Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Rocha in the 55th minute of play forced Mamore's goalkeeper Zé Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fabiano Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Garcia in the 60th minute of the match. Samuel Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Zé Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio do Valle's late challenge caught a Mamore's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inácio do Valle helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mamore booed when REAL IMPERIAL EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Melo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabrício Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Fabrício Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fabiano Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Leopoldo Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Melo having to interfere. Cícero Amorim's late challenge caught a REAL IMPERIAL EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cícero Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Mamore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cícero Amorim to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mamore booed when REAL IMPERIAL EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raí Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that REAL IMPERIAL EC were the better team. REAL IMPERIAL EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
