Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Beto de Queiroz started the match with the kick off. Zé Pedro Britos short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Donato Baptista to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. João Adolfo Severo struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Donato Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FLAMENGO. In the 10th minute Beto de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Ege Akşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FLAMENGO booed when Cumati SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, FLAMENGO's Zé Pedro Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Baptista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tomás Passos charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Passos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomás Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Zé Pedro Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Baptista having to interfere. Cumati SC's Donato Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Cumati SC from getting a goal against them. FLAMENGO's Zé Pedro Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cumati SC's zone, Chu Chao Xiao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Baptista came out of the goal and Chu Chao Xiao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Nelson Cosme notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FLAMENGO's Anıl Ege Akşin. Anıl Ege Akşin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anıl Ege Akşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Perez in the 33rd minute of play forced FLAMENGO's goalkeeper Anıl Ege Akşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Chu Chao Xiao fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FLAMENGO's protests and gave Chu Chao Xiao a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, FLAMENGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chu Chao Xiao to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match Celsinho Félix shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anıl Ege Akşin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Zé Pedro Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FLAMENGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Pedro Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, João Adolfo Severo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Baptista. Cumati SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Adolfo Severo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Pedro Brito to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Zé Pedro Brito made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cumati SC's Donato Baptista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Cumati SC's Beto de Queiroz got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Zé Pedro Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. FLAMENGO's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Pedro Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chu Chao Xiao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Donato Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sacit Lütufkâr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Brito in the 63rd minute of play. When FLAMENGO's Zé Pedro Brito in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cumati SC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cumati SC's zone, Zé Pedro Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laerte Ferraz couldn't finish the play. Zé Pedro Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Donato Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Zé Pedro Brito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cumati SC's Donato Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Zé Pedro Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. FLAMENGO's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Pedro Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
