Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Téo de Queiroz got the match started through his kick off. Pedrão Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Rony Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 16 minutes, Rony Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cervo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rony Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tostão Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, Téo de Queiroz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lauro Duarte. Téo de Queiroz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 23 played minutes Cervo got a freekick which was hit by Rony Zonta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Negri in the 24th minute of play forced Cervo's goalkeeper Tostão Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ituiutaba SC's Lauro Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Ituiutaba SC from getting a goal against them. Lauro Duarte made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Luiz Eduardo Coelho sent off a good shot on target. Edmundo Batista's late challenge caught a Cervo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmundo Batista helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Ituiutaba SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Batista to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd match minute, Cervo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Jorginho Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ituiutaba SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorginho Negri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tostão Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorginho Negri to strike the kick off in the second half. Lauro Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Lauro Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Téo de Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Luiz Eduardo Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorginho Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Silveira having to interfere. Tiago Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Jorginho Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Duarte having to interfere. In the 71stth minute of the game Téo de Queiroz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ituiutaba SC's Lauro Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th match minute, Cervo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wágner Mota to maneuver through the defense. Pedrão Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lauro Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Jorginho Negri came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ituiutaba SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorginho Negri couldn't finish the play. After having played for 89 minutes, Pedrão Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
