After a rather tough play, Moradas SS's Vitório Coutinho got a free kick in the 6th minute. A collision led to Moradas SS getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Anderson Eger hit a great ball. If Tomás Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Proença struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Leandro Maciel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moradas SS. After 13 played minutes Moradas SS got a freekick which was hit by Raí Santos. Leandro Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Proença in the 17th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Lucas do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Turvania AD and the Moradas SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Turvania AD getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lucas do Valle hit a great ball. Leandro Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Raí Santos hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Durval Duarte hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Durval Duarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juarês de Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Enéas Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Pinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Moradas SS booed when Turvania AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Gualter Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vito Mesquita hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Moradas SS's Kaká Veiga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leandro Maciel but with some difficulty. 79 minutes into the match, Moradas SS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Pinho came free, but Juarês de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gualter Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Turvania AD got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Cordeiro.
