Naldo Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurício Teles's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Pedro Augusto Eger on his right side and into the goal. 5 minutes into the game it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Luisão Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlétic Club BadBoys jrs's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisão Cavalcante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Augusto Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro Diniz scored 1-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonsinho Coutinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Diniz in the 31st minute of play forced Atlétic Club BadBoys jrs's goalkeeper Afonsinho Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ediberto Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisão Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Opa were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute of the match Cléberson de Souza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afonsinho Coutinho skillfully saved the ball. In the 52nd match minute, Atlétic Club BadBoys jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Coutinho having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Benjamim Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Diniz in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonsinho Coutinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute Luisão Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisão Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Benjamim Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlétic Club BadBoys jrs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Opa the free kick. After 84 played minutes Atlétic Club BadBoys jrs got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Souza. When Ciro Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Opa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Diniz couldn't finish the play. Jardel Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Afonsinho Coutinho made a huge save. The Opa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
