Rafinha Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filipe Costa's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes of play, larritasuna's Luiz Paulo Cearense made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafinha Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 played minutes larritasuna got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Capixaba. Rafinha Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Rocha in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Filipe Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Rafinha Leme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christian Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clóvis Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Luiz Paulo Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Leme having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 60 minutes of play, Matura's Clóvis Melo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, larritasuna's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Melo came free, but Christian Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Cesinha Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but larritasuna's Christian Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Filipe Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Matura booed when larritasuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Matura's Rafinha Leme got control of the ball when Filipe Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line.
