Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dênis Ramalho in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tostão Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Padronal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Silvério de Almeida scored to the left of an out of position Dagoberto Severo, making the score, 1-0. In the 21st minute, Dênis Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Fabiano Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagoberto Severo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Gustavo Lucas in the 33rd minute. If Dênis Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tostão Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fabiano Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, one of Padronal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvério de Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. Dênis Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Silva having to interfere. In the 61st minute Luís Gustavo Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tostão Silva came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Padronal's Dênis Ramalho. But to his dismay, Dênis Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dênis Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Silva having to interfere. Tostão Silva came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Padronal's Dênis Ramalho. But to his dismay, Dênis Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Raúl de Amorim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dagoberto Severo. Padronal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Silvério de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Lucas in the 84th minute of play. Dagoberto Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Arequembaua SC booed when Padronal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Silvério de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Padronal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
