Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Samuel Fernandes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hugo Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antônio Carlos Alvarenga during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tara fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! Raimundo Severo came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by PEGARU FC's Hugo Peres. But to his dismay, Hugo Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Hugo Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Hugo Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. PEGARU FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 played minutes Tara got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Senna. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Régis Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. PEGARU FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maurinho Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Fernandes in the 27th minute of play. Orlando Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Tara's Samuel Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurinho Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When PEGARU FC's Régis Mesquita in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tara's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Peres got free with Raimundo Severo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Maria Catarinense was slow to take the kick. During this time PEGARU FC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Jacinto in the 47th minute of play forced PEGARU FC's goalkeeper Maurinho Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Régis Mesquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis Mesquita in the 53rd minute of play forced Tara's goalkeeper Raimundo Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, PEGARU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Ricardinho de Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurinho Tande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardinho de Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Orlando Jacinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurinho Tande was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Hugo Peres notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Tara's Raimundo Severo. Raimundo Severo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the match, Tara's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Mesquita came free, but Raimundo Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Senna hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Samuel Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Maurinho Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Alfredão Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEGARU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredão Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Régis Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Régis Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Samuel Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
