After a rather tough play, Calderao EC's Sandrinho da Cunha got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Breno Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Zé Pedro Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calderao EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Jeferson Custódio scored to the left of an out of position Alex Loyola, making the score, 1-0. Vinícius Trigo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Calderao EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. Alex Loyola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred da Cunha in the 17th minute. Nuno Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Alex Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Custódio in the 47th minute of the match.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Ferraz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Paulo Afonso's Jeferson Custódio got a free kick in the 58th minute. Lenílson Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alex Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calderao EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeferson Custódio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1.
