Bertolinia EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calderao EC the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Bertolinia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Moreira to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Trigo got free with Amílton Maranhense in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Marcelo Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Calderao EC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ronaldo Trigo hit a great ball. Doni da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Marcelo Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ronaldo Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rogério Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Ronaldo Trigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Alex Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doni da Rocha scored 1-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Loyola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rogério Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bertolinia EC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ronaldinho Moreira hit a great ball. Doni da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alex Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bertolinia EC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
