If Pedrinho de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Paulo Afonso booed when Lajes AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Paulo Afonso left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lajes AD.
