Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Itaobi's Zacarias Senna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Zacarias Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espinhal's César Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Vito Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Simões came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Itaobi's Francisco Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Francisco Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Francisco Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vito Amaral struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. César Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaobi. César Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Senna in the 27th minute of play. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Belmiro Pontes sped through Itaobi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulinho Diniz. Paulinho Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Espinhal's Gwidon Dankowski in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itaobi's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Dankowski in the 39th minute of play forced Itaobi's goalkeeper Paulinho Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Gwidon Dankowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belmiro Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Paulinho Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gwidon Dankowski made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Belmiro Pontes made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Itaobi's Paulinho Diniz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. César Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Lucas in the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Gwidon Dankowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulinho Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Itaobi's Paulinho Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Dankowski in the 69th minute of play. When Nelsinho Mineiro fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espinhal's protests and gave Nelsinho Mineiro a yellow card for diving instead. Nelsinho Mineiro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match.
