In the 12th minute, Fabrício Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 15 played minutes, Oari SC's Aírton Oliveira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hernani Valladares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oari SC reached it. Fabrício Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ediberto Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Charito getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Abelardo Faustino hit a great ball. Flávio Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Oari SC's goalkeeper Ediberto Peres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Arósio. Nestor de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A hard and well directed shot from Olavo Gomes led 42 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Oari SC's Ediberto Peres became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrício Tasso was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Charito fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, Oari SC's Aírton Oliveira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hernani Valladares. Júlio Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ediberto Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Tasso in the 74th minute of play forced Oari SC's goalkeeper Ediberto Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernani Valladares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesinha Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. If Fabrício Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Charito's protests and gave Flávio Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Charito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Nestor de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ediberto Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrício Tasso's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Abelardo Faustino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 98 played minutes Charito got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Faustino. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Charito had played much better football throughout.
