Cabiuna's attack was well implemented in the 7th minute, but when Artur de Carvalho was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Flavinho Barros got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cássio Rossi hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Allan Ribeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonel Brasil. Cabiuna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Luiz Fabiano Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabiuna's protests and gave Luiz Fabiano Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 32 minutes, Artur de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabiuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur de Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Cabiuna's Luiz Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Léo Rosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Léo Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Marquez in the 38th minute of the match. Flavinho Barros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 47th minute Artur de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Léo Rosa was a little too slow when Luiz Marquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-2. 59 minutes into the match, Mangarahy FC's goalkeeper Léo Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur de Carvalho. Léo Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Marquez in the 62nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur de Carvalho got free with Léo Rosa in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cabiuna's Luiz Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Cabiuna's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Quadros came free, but Leonel Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Cabiuna's Luiz Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léo Rosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Giovani Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Luiz Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rubens Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur de Carvalho got free with Léo Rosa in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cabiuna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
