Santelo's Dito Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Ramos in the 3rd minute of play. Dito Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vítor Cosme went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cauan de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítor Cosme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Bartolomeu's zone, Davi Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauan de Castro came out of the goal and Davi Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Augusto Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan de Castro having to interfere. After 59 minutes, Simão Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bartolomeu and the Santelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bartolomeu getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Simão Ramos hit a great ball. Santelo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marquinhos Toscano in the 62nd minute. Marquinhos Toscano made a great header on Santelo's corner, it was just that Bartolomeu's Cauan de Castro managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Santelo booed when Bartolomeu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cauan de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Davi Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Santelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davi Ortiz couldn't finish the play. Davi Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauan de Castro came out of the goal and Zé Augusto Secco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Davi Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cauan de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cauan de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto Secco in the 87th minute of the match. Zé Augusto Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan de Castro having to interfere. Chants of Bartolomeu echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Santelo had held the ball for most of the match.
