He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Murereibu reached it. Laércio Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Carvalho in the 8th minute of play. If Luisão da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Baptista in the 16th minute of the match. Nicolas Ramos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Evaristo Barros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Murereibu's Evaristo Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Baptista in the 24th minute of play. Carsevenne's Nicolas Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nicolas Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Murereibu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Marques to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Murereibu's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Baptista came free, but Evaristo Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Luisão da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duarte Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Luisão da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murereibu's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisão da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio Nóbrega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Washington Baptista in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Washington Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Carsevenne's Washington Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Ramos in the 64th minute of play forced Murereibu's goalkeeper Evaristo Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Washington Baptista went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Washington Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Barros having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Carsevenne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Novaes to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 72 in the game by Duarte Carvalho from a close distance when the talented Laércio Nóbrega managed to make a qualified save. Carsevenne's players were relieved. Washington Baptista struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Evaristo Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carsevenne. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Ramos in the 79th minute of play forced Murereibu's goalkeeper Evaristo Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdir Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdir Teixeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Carsevenne booed when Murereibu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Mota hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Francisco Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Sérgio Mota was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Mota during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
