Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Márcio da Mata started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Bruninho Magalhães made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. São Paulo Luz's Raphael Donato tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. João Francisco Branco got in the 7th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Glauco Cardozo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Sandro Carvalho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Glauco Cardozo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sandro Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Paulo Luz's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glauco Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandro Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomás Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruninho Magalhães took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raphael Donato. Raphael Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Raphael Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. São Paulo Luz's Raphael Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Linhares in the 22nd minute of play. Raphael Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Linhares in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that João Francisco Branco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glauco Cardozo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Ramiro Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Donato having to interfere. When Baltazar Vides fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catrimani AD's protests and gave Baltazar Vides a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Catrimani AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Vides to maneuver through the defense. Glauco Cardozo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from João Francisco Branco. After having played for 31 minutes, Márcio da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catrimani AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márcio da Mata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio da Mata in the 35th minute of play forced São Paulo Luz's goalkeeper Raphael Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, São Paulo Luz's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio da Mata came free, but Raphael Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Catrimani AD's Edson de Brito got a free kick in the 40th minute. Sandro Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Marco Pires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raphael Donato was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Francisco Branco was the one to do the kick off. If Sandro Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, São Paulo Luz's goalkeeper Raphael Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Linhares. With a little luck, São Paulo Luz's Raphael Donato got control of the ball when Ramiro Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augusto Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Glauco Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Catrimani AD's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Carvalho came free, but Glauco Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, São Paulo Luz's Augusto Valadares seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Augusto Valadares the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of São Paulo Luz protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Augusto Valadares had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 74 minutes into the game, one of São Paulo Luz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Catrimani AD's zone, Sandro Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glauco Cardozo came out of the goal and Sandro Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Francisco Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Cardozo having to interfere. Sandro Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Catrimani AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
