Glauco Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Marques in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Cochinho FC booed when Catrimani AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Renato Tande fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cochinho FC's protests and gave Renato Tande a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Cochinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Renato Tande. Cochinho FC's Almir Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio da Mata in the 16th minute of play. Catrimani AD's Glauco Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Marques in the 19th minute of play. Marco Pires's late challenge caught a Cochinho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Pires helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Catrimani AD getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marco Pires hit a great ball. Glauco Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Campidelis in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Cochinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cochinho FC's zone, Márcio da Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almir Breckenfeld came out of the goal and Márcio da Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Márcio da Mata might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Almir Breckenfeld. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márcio da Mata ran back to his position shaking his head. Márcio da Mata struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Almir Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catrimani AD.

In the 56th minute Márcio da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th minute Ramiro Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cochinho FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Aleandro Branco hit a great ball. Catrimani AD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baltazar Vides in the 69th minute. Almir Breckenfeld stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Márcio da Mata's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Benjamin Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Breckenfeld having to interfere. Almir Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio da Mata in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Ramiro Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catrimani AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramiro Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Márcio da Mata came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Catrimani AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márcio da Mata couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cochinho FC's goalkeeper Almir Breckenfeld, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Aleandro Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despite being the better team, Catrimani AD failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
